While most people who smoke marijuana do not consider this practice an addictive habit, there is new evidence arising that confirms this theory. While smoking marijuana does not have the dangerous side effects that alcohol, cocaine and heroin have, there is an increasing cycle of addiction for those who smoke. Most marijuana smokers are just recreational smokers, but when the price of your habit interferes with your daily routine, people are finding it harder to quit.

During recent clinical studies of teens that were classified as heavy smokers, scientists found that the withdrawal symptoms of marijuana were similar to those who quit smoking, drinking, or using drugs.  Almost two-thirds of those tested showed signs of withdrawal which included irritability, aggressiveness and feelings of anxiety.

Marijuana Rehabilitation Today is a website dedicated to find the facts about addiction and presenting them in not only a non-bias way, but also from those who have experience with drug and alcohol use. While our focus is marijuana, this site will provide information and advice about all addictions and not just those based off of drug or alcohol abuse.

Whether its food or sex, the internet or gambling, the facts are addiction is a major issue in our society today. We should not blame neither the control point nor the person, but find out why as a society we need to find some sort of escape from existence. Until that issue is addressed, until we wake up and realize that we are a nation of addicts, together in our addictions, then, and only then, will all of us who suffer from addiction find a cure.

This website is dedicated to the goal of acceptance over ignorance. Come join the revolution.
