I was just researching different uses of marijuana for a project im doing over the medical uses of it.
and i say this is LIES.
http://medicalmarijuana.procon.org/viewresource.asp?resourceID=000141
this website proves the following statements false:
There have been over 7,000 published scientific and medical studies documenting the damage that marijuana poses. Not one study has shown marijuana to be safe.

The daily use of 1 to 3 marijuana joints can produce the same lung damage and potential cancer risk as smoking five times as many cigarettes.

&& finally
this one:
Estimates put the value of the marijuana industry to the British Columbia Economy at anywhere between $2 billion and $10 billion, making it one of British Colombia’s top three industries.

well maybe if it was legal OUR economy would suck as bad.
:]
JUST SAYING.

Hi I am a 25 year old married mother of 2. I know for certain that marijuana addiction is real. My husband of 6 years has tried time and time again to quit but cant. The Anxiety, depression, and anger is too much and he has to smoke. I feel he is self medicating though because he smokes and functions perfectly.Whereas if he doesn't he cant function. I know this must sound crazy but this is not smoking to get high because he doesn't even get high anymore. It simply allows him to deal with his anxiety and once he has he can work, be a loving husband & father, deal with every day life. Its like a anxiety/mood stabilizer for him you would never even know he smokes. Problem is that its expensive and illegal and we have both agreed that its a big problem. If he doesn't smoke its a big deal because he gets very moody, defensive, anxious, short tempered and then some. He has agreed to go to a doc and see if he can take something to help with the withdrawal symptoms. If you can please point us in the right direction I would be so grateful. I'm just not sure what type of doc to go see & we don't want our whole family finding out about this so a rehab is out of the question. I'm also afraid of confidentiality because we do have children and I'm not sure if that would make a doc have to report him if he confessed to smoking. Please any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Bella
